Sweating It Out With 300 Odd Men

Halfway through my RT at Maju Camp and I am not hating it as much as I thought I would. The PTIs are very cheerful and friendly and the workouts for the most parts were interesting and effective.

There is some feeling of familiarity sweating it out with 300 odd men in all ages, shapes and sizes. It’s almost like the days serving NS, working up a good sweat minus all the “BLOODY RECRUIT! MY GRANDMA COULD OUTRUN YOU! GO TO THE WALL AND TELL THE WALL HOW SORRY YOU ARE, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!”

It’s such a pity that I am going through a persistent flu that is preventing me from pushing it at those trainings. I do hope it doesn’t affect my IPPT test that is happening next Thursday. As much as I enjoy the RT sessions, I don’t wish to fail the test and go for the second phase.

I’ll sweat it out on my own after that. Thank you.
