Twitter does have advantages over Plurk in many areas but as a tool for conversation, Plurk wins hands down.

You know, when I made that Twitter plurk, I was thinking of blogging it and now you did it. Well, it all depends on the purpose you are using each for. In the case of building persona relationships, Plurk is the better option but I can't say the same if you are using Twitter to follow developments of certain issues.
